BlackTrax helps preserve the magic of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

The Lunt-Fontanne Theatre’s Broadway production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was reliant on creative technologies to portray the magical world as envisioned by Roald Dahl. To maintain this illusion, staging company WorldStage put BlackTrax to the task. Instead of using real television sets onstage, projection mapping/edge blending was done on monitor-sized foam core placards to maintain the realism of this magical, classic tale.
